YouTube is moving further into TikTok territory, this time testing new random feed prompts that direct users to short content. As you can see in this example posted by Android Police, YouTube is testing new prompts for when users can't decide what they want to watch within the app. This is a very different approach considering that people typically come to YouTube with a specific focus. But on TikTok, more and more people are opening their For You feed to see what the algorithm is showing them.
