Create a bootable installer: Use a tool like Rufus (Windows) or Etcher (Windows, macOS, Linux) to burn the downloaded FreeNAS image to a USB drive (8GB or more) to create the installer set bootable. 4. Configuring BIOS/UEFI: Plug the bootable USB drive into the computer or server where you want to install FreeNAS. Make sure your BIOS/UEFI settings are set to boot from a USB drive. 5.
